Firstly, I'd like to say how much I appreciated your birthday gift! This year I truly enjoyed my birthday more than a time I can remember. What I loved so much about it was the thoughtfulness of my friends and family-some dropped by unexpectently, others sent lovely cards and every gift I received (including your money towards a Kenwood Mixer) was just what I wanted! Ruby was very sick all week (bronchitis this time) so I thought it would be a real downer of a birthday as I was up every 30 min day and night for 3 days straight. I can say that I sat up and sewed her a dress, looked at the instruction manuals for my mixer and sewing machine and enjoyed the full 24hrs. Not many can say that!
Anyway....... that is why the cards are late. I just couldn't get out anywhere to get what I needed but now I am organised and hope you have enough time to buy your things. On that point I have had 5 regular people already tell me they have work parties or special events on the calendar for this Friday. Can you send me an email by Wednesday if you would prefer scrapping on the Saturday night???????? We could possibly swap the days or have it over 2 nights. I'd really like to sit down with you and make these cards. Receiving a home made card takes a bit more time but they are so nice to receive. I have 7 layout ideas or you may have your own planned. Below is a list of materials for each card.
